NATURAL CALAMITY

When a natural camity hits an area, Allah is surely lashing down his wrath to those who refuse to believe and pursued vanities.Movements should then be restricted. One who has purified and steadfast in faith should not go or visit the area. Allah said in 7 nights and 8 days the series of penalties will be poured down without mercy until the last of those whom He wants to eradicate will be gone. Thus, those who have been given the inspiration and the guidance to leave the area before the onslaught should leave. In fact, this is one of the proofs that those who left and never came back have the chance to believe and worship Allah alone in this life in preparation for the next life.

At this moment, I could say that in few more hours the typhoon code named 'Pepeng' will wreck more havoc into the area and bring to naught the efforts of those who remained in the wrong path.

Purify

Strive to purify and pray patiently, that Allah will send you the inspiration to prepare before the onslaught of a calamity. Many times I have read the story of Abraham and Lut, Noah and the arch, Pharaoh and the Palistinians in Egypt, Moses and the king's dream. All of them were given inspirations by Allah prior to the time when Allah sent down His verdict without mercy for those who did not give back to Him mercy. After all, the world and His teachings has been here for billions of years. But, many people do not pay heed. Allah is not shy to tell people that they are like'flies or mosquitoes' in reality. Yet they become hard at heart. Despite all these, Allah is still willing to forgive those who come before him with a pure heart to return to his fold, similar to the forgiveness he gave to the guy who was swallowed by a big fish, but, spitted out alive.

WHAT ARE TO BE PREPARED BEFORE PRAYING

There are certain things that must be prepared before one should go into prayer, to increase the chances of rendering an acceptable rite before the presence of Allah subhana wata Allah:
1. Niyat, is the desire in the heart and in the mind for the intention of the prayer;
2. Abdas, or washing the exposed parts of the body;
3. Changing of clothes in case the clothes are dirty;
4. Clean, purified prayer area facing the west; and
5. Timing of the obligatory prayer according to the five indicated hours when it should be performed.

SALAH

No amount of salah is acceptable in front of Allah if a believer does not recite the first chapter of the Qur'an which is al-FATIHA:
In the name of Allah, Most Graceous, Most Merciful (Bismillah).
Praise be to Allah, The Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds;
Most Graceous, Most Merciful;
Master of the Day of Judgment.
Thee do we worship,
And Thine aid we seek.
Show us the straight way,
The way of those on whom
Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace
Those whose portion
Is not wrath
And who go not astray.

ABDAS FOR SALAH

Salah or prayer is the second pillar of Islam. Every Muslim whose religion is Islam do five times a day prayer. This is in accordance with Allah's will which He stated in the Qur'an. Every prayer starts by saying "Bismillah", and a desire in the heart or "niyat". Then, do abdas or washing when clean water is available. If not get a clean soil and do "tayamum". (When you feel like to pee or wee or fart, do it before you begin and say "astagfirullah".)

Bismillah . . .

1.) First, wash the right hand up to the elbows 3 times. Next wash the left hand up to the elbows 3 times;
2.) Wash from the right side of the face with open eyes, up to the left side 3 times;

3.) Wash the right side of the nose first, then, the left side 3 times;

4.) Wash the mouth 3 times;

5.) Wash the head from the right side to the left 3 times with on a very little amount of water so as not to let the water run down to the other oarts of the body;

6.) Wash the left ears, then the right ears 3 times;

7.) Wash the neck from left to right 3 times;

8.) Wash the feet from the left foot to the right up to the ankles 3 times; and make a dua prayer or seek refuge in Allah that your cleanliness will be maintained and acceptable to Allah.
